Alright, tomorrow's the Raya break so I have around 4 days-ish of holiday. I thought I could update the overhauled look of this place before then, but I guess it'll be for another time. There's a lot of things I wanna add to this place to make it more "personal" instead of just a MyVT shill site lol.
That said, this page is becoming more like a diary than a blog. Maybe I'll start writing actual articles soon and place it in a real blog page. I'll rename this place into diary entries instead.
I recently got invited to test out a site that supposedly to mimic 4chan, an anonymous imageboard. I think I can't really disclosed who made it cause that would defeat the purpose of it being anonymous, no? Aside from that, I linked it here for anyone who visit this site to access it. It's also in the navigation panel on the side.
I wonder if anyone would even use it. That said, nice to see some more MyVT stuff going on around.
Update on site, it's not on the live site but I've been cooking locally to which I will add in "shrines" in this place. Since this is also my personal site, I will gush about my oshis, both MyVT and global. So beware!
Raya is next week from the time of this writing. It's Saturday, yet here I am cramming all the work which they piled on me on my half day. Usually I would be just browsing, updating personal stuffs and plan work for the coming week. Welp, I guess that's not happening today.
That said, as I mentioned last time, I'll try to push and complete this "ecosystem" effort I'm making. For now, let's call it Project MyCircle or something. But then again, it supposed to be mostly personal. So perhaps something like a KamiGrounds? Meh. But I'll be making this site as the one stop site to access the rest of the "ecosystem". I'm not sure if I'll include modern social media into it, maybe it will be used as the large net for now. To get new people of both VTubers and fans alike.
Then, I would need a platform for them to self express. That's where the forum comes, I guess. The final thing would be the incentivisation of using them. It's like competing with algo-monster sites like Twitter, so it'll be an uphill battle. And this is old school, which most gen Z and gen Alpha didn't even know how to use if there's no flashy icons that handholds them in everything. So it's something to think about.
Welp, that's it for today. I'll revise more on the plan and structure, and maybe spice up this place summore before going public in a big way. Aside from that, found out there's a new group trying to "revive" MyVT at the time of this writing. Though I personally don't think that MyVT "died", it simply slowed down and decentralised.
That said, I wish the best for them and I will put up the stuff they put out over here too. Since I'm trying to complete this "ecosystem" I intended to create back then. Just hoping more people would hop on, but it'll take time.
